iPod Nano

Apple added a 1GB iPod Nano to their lineup today. With it costing only $149 ($129 educational) I am really tempting to buy one. They also dropped the price of the shuffle, but I don't think that a shuffle is what I need. Check it out at apple.com/ipod/.

Actually I think the iPod Nano 1 GB is a really good move for Apple. They should go ahead and just drop the whole "Shuffle" line now and make the Nano the low-end iPod. The interface is what makes the iPod so great anyway.

i disagree... the shuffle (especially at the lower price point) is quite a handy little tool...

with the 1GB nano you still have cables etc involved... that's why i love my shuffle, it's as easy as a jump drive, but still can hold and play music and hold data... i love it so much and I'll never let it go!
